DUSHANBE, 06.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – At around 4 a.m. this morning, in the adjacent area of Langari Mohiyon locality of the Chorkuh rural community in Isfara, the head of the Kuktosh checkpoint of the Kyrgyz Border Troops, Senior Lieutenant Sher Kabirov was attacked and injured by an unidentified person using a TOZ-8 hunting weapon, reports the Press Center of the Tajik Border Troops.
According to the source, in a similar incident 1 km away from the border a 65-year-old resident of Somoniyon locality of Chorkuh rural community Vohid Vahhobov who was a gardener of the 4th brigade was wounded in the leg by the Kyrgyz side and died.
Relevant authorities of the two countries are at the scene and are conducting an investigation and explanatory work among the population to clarify the details of the incident.
